In recent news, Majestic Sky has announced it has developed a Berthoud community website to help small businesses relay critical information to the public during the COVID-19 pandemic. The website, called Berthoud Helping Berthoud, provides a free space for local businesses to list information about their hours, delivery or takeout options, contact information, description, photos, and other pertinent information.
“During these unique times we are all experiencing, I wanted to help out small businesses which are the heart of our Berthoud community,” says Chuck Angerman, founder of Majestic Sky. “I came up with the idea when I realized many people in the Berthoud area were constantly looking on Facebook to see which businesses were still open. I decided it would be a great idea to develop a website that provides all of the critical information they need, all in one convenient place.”
According to Angerman, Berthoud Helping Berthoud now has almost 70 local businesses currently listed. To ensure accuracy, Angerman is updating the website as often as possible, based on local business’ Facebook pages. Additionally, Angerman will provide businesses in nearby cities, such as Loveland and Longmont, with a similar business directory, should there be enough interest.
“I wanted to do my part in helping out our small community as best I could,” states Angerman. “I truly believe we should all help each other as best we can, now more than ever.”
