Silixa published more information about XSeepT developed by HydroResearch. XSeepT is a high-precision distributed fibre optic sensing-based seepage Dam Monitoring System that enables continuous awareness of dam conditions, thus elevating dam safety. It is an affordable and dependable dam monitoring system that continuously monitors the whole dam structure.

XSeepT makes use of the highest spatial resolution temperature data available from Silixa’s ULTIMA DTS distributed temperature sensor to identify and compute seepage rates in dam structures.
