Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center (WCRC), a well-known retreat center in southeastern Virginia, will host its 28th Annual Golf Classic Fundraiser Event on Friday, May 6, at the Williamsburg National Golf Course. (3700 Centerville Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188).
Player check-ins for the tournament will open at 11:30 A.M., while the official start will be after lunch from 1:00 P.M. until 7 P.M.

2022 Golf Classic Registration and Program
The event is open to everyone. Participants will be grouped into four-player teams, while the playing format will be as follows:
- Four Player Teams
- Captain’s Choice
- Shotgun Start
- Flight Scoring
- Mulligans
- Close Enough String
- Tee Buster
Prizes will be given for the best score in three flights, the longest drive, hole-in-one, and more. Individuals and teams may visit the WCRC website to register for the event. The $200 player registration fee will include the following:
- 18 Holes of Golf with Cart
- Driving Range
- Lunch and dinner
- Strings, Mulligans, and T-Busters
- Prizes
All the funds raised will go towards running the retreat center and supporting all its activities, from its guided outdoor activities and summer camps to its Christian retreats and ministry leadership training program.

28 Years of Supporting Christian Fellowship and Ministry
Aside from golf players, the Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center also invites interested parties to sign-up for sponsorship opportunities and further support the event. Funds from the sponsorships will cover the event costs and add to the net proceeds of the event.
There are three sponsorship levels available for the 2022 annual golf classic: Premium, Team, and Supporting Sponsors. Each type has its sponsorship tiers and corresponding benefits.
Premium sponsors can field two to three golf teams, while each tier of Team sponsors can field one team. All sponsors will have their logos displayed in the sponsorship brochure, event social media posts, and more.
Additionally, they will be able to connect with guests, supporters, and followers through various signs put up throughout the golf course. The WCRC also offers tailored sponsorship packages.
